Yes, to all of the above.   We provide basic cooking items. If specialized equipment is needed for your cooking plans, we recommend calling or emailing first to see if we have what you need or simply bring your own from home.   We ask that you use your own beach towels and bring extra towels if you like to have extra towels when showering. 

We also provide the following:   paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dishwasher soap and tabs,  hand towels, trash bags, coffee pods or grounds, basic sweetner for coffee and powdered creamer. 

We ask that people not smoke inside the cabins.   All of the  resorts have porches or decks for smoking.   Please do not throw butts in the yard, creek or in the woods.

The Hocking Hills State Parks are very easily accessible from the locations of the resorts.   Most are within a 15-25 minute drive via State Route 664 South.  Hillside is just 7-10 minutes away from Cantwell Cliff State Park.

The Hocking Hills offers a wide varienty of dining establishments and shops. Most are located in Logan, which is only minutes away.   We will include Hocking Hills Visitor's Guides in resort, which details many of the establishments' services and locations.

We appreciate your desire to include your pet in your unforgettable stay at the Hocking Hills.   We currently do allow for the inclusion of one dog with additional fee.  We do ask that your dog be trained and treated.    Also please no puppies who are chronic, destructive chewers.  To avoid additional charges, please make sure you clean up any droppings left behind as well.

We provide a reasonable amount of bath towels for your stay.   If you require extra towels, we recommend packing a few extra for yourself.    We do not provided beach towels for the hot tubs.    We do ask that the bath towels not be used at the hot tub.   The hot tub chemicals have a bleach affect and can blemish the darker towels.

 The grills are charcoal however you will need charcoal and lighter fluid.   Also we do not provide firewood, however small bundles of firewood are availale at local gas stations and stores.   Convenience stores are a short drive away from both locations where these items can be purchased.

The base prices for the cottages are for two people for Rockside and Dockside and four people for Hillside.    Rather than offering the entire cabin(s) at a much higher fee for everyone, we prefer to allow smaller groups to also have the opportunity to affordably enjoy the cabin, cottage and lodge as well as families and parties consisting of larger groups.    It should be recognized there is a considerable amount of additional cleaning, laundry, electrical usage and preparation for additional guests and therefore it is charged appropriately.   Unless otherwise requested when a reservation for TWO PEOPLE  is made, only one bedroom will be made available.   The others will not be accessible. Please call ahead if your needs differ as we are happy to provide access to the extra bedroom if needed. 

We recognize that plans do change and oftentimes additional guests may be included at the last minute.   We require that you inform the management four days prior to arrival with the number of additional guests.  

The same applies with pets.

The sites are not appropriate for ATV usage.

We do require that additional guest be disclosed to us prior to your stay.   Hocking Hills Scenic Retreats reserves the right to terminate the rental (without refund) if it is found that additional,unpaid guests are occupying the cabin without disclosure.    The cabins are priced with a base guest fee (2 for Rockside and Dockside and 4 for Hillside). This is done so the cabins can be rented affordably by couples, small families and larger groups. 

We do schedule staff to clean the cabins prior to the stay and their rates and needed staff depend largely on the number of guests anticipated.    For this reason, we can not allow reductions in fees for guest changes within ten days of the check in date.    If  the number of anticipated guests has increased, we ask you let us know as soon as possible so that me may avoid being short staffed and not having enought towels or linens available for you use.
